A credit card you can use overseas

Your passport

Travel Medical Insurance

Unlocked Cellphone (you may need to acquire a foreign sim card or change carriers.)  

Visa/work papers or any other documents you might need for your extended stay.

Plug adapter

Medication 

Ethernet Cable

Basic Toiletry's (especially if you will be in quarantine, otherwise you can just go buy more.)

Deodorant ( this isn't as widely available.)

feminine products; if you don't prefer pads.

swimsuit

A jacket of some kind depending on the weather.

book (kindle)

Toothpaste if you can't be without your specific brand.

Vacuum sealed bags for your clothes

Some small packets of detergent

1-2 weeks worth of clothing (it is better to wash your clothing on long trips rather than packing your whole closet.)

Don't forget your chargers

Bottles of; ibuprofen, D3, shelf stable probiotics, melatonin, tumeric (this is especially good to pack for soreness, if you've been injured previously, and if you're prone to swelling. 

At least a little bit of cash just in case your cards don't work/ your Korean bank account isn't set up yet.

RFID wallet

If you're in a dorm you may need to bring your own towel, toilet paper, and hand soap. *I listed these since you can't purchase them while in quarantine.  

Snacks for the Plane

Cameras, laptops

Power Bank

Korean-*your home language* Dictonary

Comfy shoes; you will be walking a lot more than you're used to
