💚 First Day Out of Quarantine!💛      At noon on Friday I was set free! Once my class ended thirty minutes later I made my way to the one out of three cafeterias located on the SCH campus. I'm not 100% what it is called but it was the closest cafeteria to the Global Village, less than a three minute walk. Since Covid is still a big thing in the world you have to have the SCH app in order to enter buildings with your custom QR code. When you leave campus it encouraged for you to get the Naver app since most places won't let you in without a QR code from that (though you need a Korean number in order to get the QR code.*)       When you first walk in you are met with a cute little convenience store.   Soju! In order to better prepare myself for my trip in addition to looking up information about flights, visas, and phone plans I thought it would be a good idea to start cultivating a taste for Soju! I was able to acquire some Soju at my local large liquor store.  My first impression of Soju was that it was very light in strength, sort of a like a watered down vodka with a hint of spicy orange flavor. After the second shot I was able to feel more of the burn of the alcohol as more of the notes developing.  You'll need to download the " 순천향톡 " app after you get out of quarantine to pass each buildings Covid check station.  Download 순천향톡  Enter you student ID as your user and your birth date as the password On the top row of icons if you click "more" you will see the Covid 19 health form to fill out once a day before entering your building.   Make sure you either have your student ID or your QR code (or mobile ID) from the app with you when entering a building. Once you have entered the building stand on the yellow sticker for your mask and temperature check, scan your code or ID 6 inches from the machine, and then use some sanitizer (which will be provided.)  *If you can't read Korean I suggest taking a screenshot of the page, and importing it into google translate. Highlight over each word you want to translate.
